Receives and verifies accuracy of incoming shipments
Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring and record all inventory transfers and receipts.
Accurately record all details of inventory moves Working with other departments such as quality control or production Maintaining organization in the warehouse Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence or product code Utilizes material handling equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jack Mark material with proper identifying information Prepare and record shipments for warehouse transfer Follows all necessary SOP's Stocking the floor and staging areas Create and schedule UPS/FedEx shipments Participate in process improvement projects as needed Requirements:
ERP experience a MUST Computer skills Scanning guns Knowledge of warehouse environment and logistics operations Ability to read, understand and follow instructions on an SOP is critical in this role.
Must have basic math skills Must be certified to drive standing and sitting forklift Must be able to read and communicate using English language Must be able to interact with computer system and make basic transactions accurately Ability to lift a up to 50 lbs Ability to stand - 85% of the time Ability to bend, reach and stretch.
