Summary:
The Clinical Supports Department is currently seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to develop strategies and support plans to address consumer behavior and support needs and to work with staff and program administration to ensure effective implementation of strategies and plans.
The Clinical Support Specialist will report to Director, Clinical Supports.
This position is in-person at the Fairfield office and may require travel to programs across Essex County.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Develop consumer strategies and support plans for consumers, specifically for consumers who demonstrate ASD or related issues Work with Program Manager(s) and Clinical Support Team regarding issues related to the implementation and effectiveness of developed strategies and/or plans Work collaboratively with Program Manager(s) and Clinical Support Team in the development of effective programming Develop and provide needed training to ensure most effective implementation of consumer strategies and behavior support plans Follow state mandates protocols for development, approval, and implementation of behavior plans Conduct in-service staff training to ensure individual behavioral needs are met Attend Inter Disciplinary Team meetings and relevant appointments for consumers requiring clinical support Perform any other duties as required or assigned Education / Work Experience / Skills:
Master's degree in social work, psychology or related field preferred 3
year experience working with DDD population, specifically ASD required Experience in developing support plans and strategies required Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Job Type:
