Summary:
As a Payroll Analyst at Woodmont Properties, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration and a solid understanding of PAYCOM, our chosen payroll management system.
This role offers the flexibility of either part-time or full-time employment, depending on the candidate's preferences and availability.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

PAYCOM Expertise:
Demonstrate proficiency in using PAYCOM to process and manage payroll activities.
Stay updated on PAYCOM system upgrades and enhancements to maximize its capabilities.
Effectively leverage PAYCOM's report writer tools to generate customized reports that meet the specific needs of the organization.
Payroll processing:
Audit employee timeclock entries for completeness and compliance with established standards and procedures for approximately 170 employees.
Produce and review bi-weekly payroll data accurately and in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of wages, bonuses, and other payroll-related payments.
Ensure proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, garnishments, and other deductions.
Issue replacement checks or facilitate direct deposits promptly in cases of payroll errors or final discharge, adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
Monitor labor allocations to ensure payroll is charged back to the correct site locations, providing accurate financial reporting and cost allocation.
Monitor the payroll cash account to ensure appropriate funds are available for payroll disbursements.
Wage/Tax Audit for Employees:
Conduct a thorough audit of new employees' pay and tax information to ensure accurate and proper compensation and tax withholding.
Collaborate with HR to address any discrepancies or missing information in employees' tax or biweekly deductions.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Apply as needed for SIT/SUI account numbers for new state and localities.
Reporting:
Audit and reconcile payroll tax reporting after each pay cycle to validate accuracy of filings by PAYCOM.
This includes reconciliation of W-2s, 941, 940, and state and local tax reports.
Completion of quarterly multiple worksite report.
Prepare and submit quarterly reports to private disability providers, maintaining accurate and timely communication to fulfill contractual obligations.
Provide necessary documentation and reports during workers' compensation audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating a smooth audit process.
Provide department heads with comprehensive salary and bonus reports for yearly compensation analysis.
Maintain data integrity in the PAYCOM system by regularly auditing and reconciling payroll data.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Full-Time Duties (Additional Responsibilities):
Generate company billbacks based on relevant data and documentation.
Process billbacks accurately and efficiently within accounting software programs, Yardi and Timberline.
Upload Accounts Payable (AP) entries and job cost entries and facilitate processing of checks related to billbacks, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
Manage the scanning and depositing of checks back to the payroll account.
Collaborate with departments to gather necessary information for billback processing.
Support for the accounting department, such as entering AP invoices, bank reconciliations, and accounting-related reporting.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst with focus on PAYCOM.
Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent mindfulness and accuracy in data entry.
Accounting knowledge, specifically in applying debits and credits.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
Effective communication and people skills, providing a customer service feel to team members inquiring about payroll matters.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
