Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software (Dentrix Ascend) - Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries - Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with completing necessary forms - Collect and process payments for services rendered - Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information - Coordinate with dentists to ensure smooth patient flow
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting - Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes - Proficiency in using dental practice management software (e.
g.
, Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, Epic) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties or required skills for the position of Dental Receptionist.
