#### Primary Responsibilities
Primary
Responsibilities: Lead Analytical Chemistry projects including: method transfers, method development and method validations.
#### Reporting to
Lab Manager
#### Specific responsibilities
Serve as Technical lead for R&D; projects.
In conjunction with SGS Client Services Group, communicate with clients in order to scope projects
In conjunction with SGS Client Services Group, determine pricing information to the Quoting group.
Write project protocols
Supervise analysts supporting projects.
Write project reports
#### Profile
PhD with 3 or more years of experience in an analytical/R&D; environment.
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
OR
MS degree with 5 or more years of experience in analytical/R&D; environment.
Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
#### Skills
Must possess hands-on technical experience as well as prior supervisory experience.
Proficient in scientific reasoning.
Possess very strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to demonstrate mathematical abilities.
