#### Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for sales of Brand Protection and Risk Management Services including Food Safety & Quality Assurance services, Supply Chain Sustainability and Regulatory Consulting Services to established and new customers.
Accountable for meeting budgeted revenue and profitability targets for Microbiological and Chemical testing of food products, regulatory and consultative audits and certification of factory operations, and product inspections in to the Grocery, Warehouse Club, Food Service, Food Manufacturing/Processing, and Food Importing sectors.
Prospect, and cultivate leads to generate revenue in accordance with sales strategies and individual targets to include other Strategic Business Units and SGS SA global business lines.
Responsible for effective and professional relationship development.
Responsible for collaboration with US and global client service teams, global sales and operations staffs.

#### Specific responsibilities
? Execution of sales for U.S.-based customers within assigned industry/customer base
? Develops sales plans with sales manager to insure the achievement of targets
? Consistently and accurately provides sales reports and other reports as required by sales manager
? Works with Clients services to insure ease and transparency of client information and requirements.
? Works closely with SGS affiliates to present valued-added solutions to prospective customers.
? Issues quotations and proposals and negotiates fees, terms and conditions as necessary - tracking all leads and opportunities in Oracle CRM.
? Works closely and provides support to the Client Services team
? Issues quotations and proposals and negotiates fees, terms and conditions for program clients
? Maintains and develops relationships with existing and potential customers.
? Visits potential customers to prospect for new business
? Acts as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
? Negotiates the terms of an agreement and closes sales
? Attends industry and trade show events in support of lead generation and prospecting
? Data entry
? Send Reports to clients.
? Maintain job folders and filing.
? Other duties assigned as necessary in response to business needs.
#### Profile
? Ability to establish effective working and team relationships with internal and external customers, works in a collaborative manner
? Intimate knowledge of SGS CTS' Food Safety services, products and global network
? Creative thinking skills to develop innovative solutions to solve customer requirements and problems.
? Ability to interface with supply chain senior managers and other customer structures
? Capable of building trust, value others and communicate effectively
? Customer focused, high integrity, excellent work ethic
? Self managed and responsible to targets and goals
? Strong communication and organizational skills.
? Ability to establish effective working and team relationships with internal and external customers
#### Skills
? Bachelor's degree in food science or related field.
? A minimum of four-five (4-5) years of successful sales experience in food safety, laboratory, testing equipment or microbiological, quality assurance, or other food related industry
? Established relationships in retail grocery, importer, private label manufacturing in the meat, seafood, bakery, produce, dairy, agriculture, hospitality or other food related industry.
? Strong people skills to include cross cultural sensitivities
? Ability to close sales
? Proven analytical and problem solving abilities
? International business exposure in imported consumer products
? Strong written and spoken English skills, other languages will be an advantage
? Persuasive, diplomatic, but always to the point and a strong ability to sell a concept.
? Hands-on, open-minded, proactive team player
? Proficient in Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, and Outlook specifically.
Able to lift boxes to/at industry trade shows up to 40 lbs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
