#### Primary Responsibilities
Able to effectively generate a test report compiled from multiple data formats in compliance to customer requirements.
Performs data entry in various formats.
Assists Department Staff in various roles.
#### Reporting to
Consumer Testing Services
#### Specific responsibilities
Essential duties and requirements include the following. Other duties may also be assigned.
Prepare Test Reports meeting customer requirements.
Data entry in Datamanager.
Filing.
Prepares and sends out tested specimens.
Readies laboratory equipment and/or instrumentation required for the analysis of samples in accordance with prescribed test methods and standards.
Prepares specimens for use in testing, following standardized procedures.
With supervision, performs testing to prescribed methods and standards on samples such as fabrics, garments, accessories, and other soft goods.
Ability to prioritize and execute work assigned within prescribed testing time line.
Uses and operates any equipment or test apparatus in laboratory, with appropriate training.
Is able to work independently and as a team within a limited scope of work based on experience.
Assist in keeping inventory of laboratory chemicals and equipment necessary for the day to day functioning of the laboratory and in compiling list of supplies to be ordered when needed.
Maintain cleanliness of work area utilized or assigned.
Other projects and tasks assigned by qualified staff and management.
#### Profile
Associates Degree with 1 or more years work experience or High School Diploma and 2 or more years work experience in a related, technical or specialized field.
Must understand, speak, read and write English and have no disability which would prevent working in a laboratory.
