Manages construction efforts for new development, build-outs, and relocations while running the crews and execute of the construction.
Manage the pre-construction planning process including evaluation of proposed sites.
Establish scope of work, formulating work plans, and estimates and project schedules.
Experience procuring materials and services for A&L, maintenance and civils work.
Able to manage fast track construction schedules.
Manage subcontractors to ensure high quality work and complete projects on time and on budget.
Provide quantity take-offs and cost breakdown for each construction project by category.
Prepare and/or tracks all required construction and project administration documents and tasks.
Oversee in-house construction and maintenance crews.
Detailed knowledge of construction industry, terminology and building regulations.
Strong ability to read and understand the telecom construction plans.
Excellent understanding of Cell site construction
Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency and minimal supervision.
Carries out supervisory duties in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
Responsibilities include training technicians; planning, assigning and directing work
Skills and Abilities
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization as well as outside architects, engineers, contractors and vendors. Must be able to balance and effectively resolve conflict among construction personnel.
Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
Must have a thorough knowledge of telecom construction systems including (Architectural and Engineering)
Must possess working knowledge of building, safety and fire codes and manage project risks.
Work Experience and/or Education
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Engineering/ Construction Management.
Minimum of 4-5 years of retail construction project management experience is required.
Working knowledge of MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
