International Pools Analyst

Position Summary
Primary responsibility is to provide support to senior management as well as Pool and Regional Management Teams. This includes daily report generation of inbound rail shipments, weekly utilization analysis, and monthly manual billing for the customers, where necessary. Additional responsibilities include advancing pool metrics, analytics and troubleshooting to improve the overall utilization and service levels across all pool operations.

Essential Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
Produce and analyze rail projections for all rail ramps by compiling daily bare chassis counts from each ramp as well as projecting the en route containers on a 72 hour basis.
Create and maintain weekly fleet graphs for all marine pools and provide to Senior Management.
Provide monthly Migration Re-bills and distribute to the billing department for invoicing, as requires.
Assist pool managers with regards to chassis sitting on and off terminal as well as other utilization reports.
Use Poolstat to trace progress of various projects such as implementation of new pools, chassis terminations, etc., as required
Prepare and produce ad hoc reports for Marketing and Senior Management.
Manage weekly trend across all Pools and maintaining KPI's as required.
Monitor weekly SSL utilization in each pool.
Assist with Pool member weekly projections and forecasting.
Maintaining and managing positive working relations with all Pool Management team members. .
Assist with completing the weekly dashboard.

Non Essential Duties:
Assist Pool Managers with reporting as needed
Special projects as needed

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a logistics related field or 2 years analytical business experience preferred.
Intermodal industry knowledge of equipment control preferred, but not required
Strong oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail a must
Ability to multi task, handling multiple requests from different vendors simultaneously
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet stringent deadlines
Ability to identify problems, process resolution and implement action or solution timely
Required to perform advanced capability of Microsoft Excel; must be able to create Pivot tables, formulas and V-look ups; ability to perform Macros preferred but not required
Knowledge of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; Access preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
